| The birthday boy |
An advance celebration of Pastor's Eugene's birthday was held after worship service last September 14, 2014. The program was hosted by the energetic duo, Bro. Ramon and Sis. Emma. At the first part of the program, Sunday school children, young people, WOW and AMEN gave Pastor Eugene their gifts and letters of appreciation.
Representatives of different ministries extended their birthday greetings to pastor and shared how he touched their lives. The kids offered a song number while spelling out pastor's name and giving a corresponding adjective that describes him.
E-ncouraging, U-nderstanding, Good-looking, E-nergetic, N-ice pastor, E-xcellent. Young people sang "Gintong Panahon." Selected members of WOW and AMEN sang "Standing" with angelic voices.
Everyone was surprised, including the ones performing, with the last presentation. Pastor's family, Sis. Sahlee with their 5 beautiful daughters were asked to give a special number for him. After a few minutes of deliberation, they sang "Finding Faithful." Pastor Eugene joined them and sang with them the last part of the song.

Lastly, Pastor thanked the congregation for their greetings and gifts for him. He said that he was deeply touched to know that he was truly loved. But more than the material blessings, he encouraged everyone to partner with him regarding our most important mission in life, discipleship.
