Last July 27, Youth Enjoying Service (YES) to Christ held its monthly youth assembly at two in the afternoon at BCI Marikina Church with the theme "Study Have-it: Study to Earn or Study to Learn." Ninety-three youth and young professionals attended the said event. Ate Kezia Darroca and Kuya Bon Principe hosted the program.

For the testimony, Kuya Alejandro Podresimo shared how God saved him from his sinful past and how He guides him everyday. Kuya Paulo Briones with 4 members of his E12 gave a special song number.

Brother Jason Tuazon is the speaker that afternoon. He talked about the importance of education in our lives. He gave tips to develop good study habits. He also reminded us to focus in our academics but also not to neglect our spiritual growth as disciples of Jesus.

Proverbs 4:1-13  King James Version (KJV)

¹Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

² For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.

³ For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.

⁴ He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.

⁵ Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

⁶ Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.

Discipleship is all about learning to follow Jesus Christ and learning to live by the wisdom of His Word. We are to become life-long pupils, learners, and followers of Christ.
